A glass capillary is molded to a polypropylene reservoir, permitting easy loading of the capillary. A stopper provides a secure seal, significantly reducing the risk of contamination. High quality borosilicate glass ensures excellent PCR performance and optimal fluorescence transmission. The capillary is designed to hold a reaction volume of 100 μl.

The LightCycler® Capillaries (100 μl) MGRADE are the appropriate reaction vessels for the LightCycler® 2.0 Instrument when working with large reaction volumes. Each capillary can hold a reaction volume of up to 100 μl.
MGRADE products are designed for highly sensitive bacterial and fungal nucleic acid detection. These products are produced using proprietary manufacturing processes that were developed in order to eliminate contamination that might interfere with such assays.
If the LightCycler® Capillaries (100 μl) MGRADE are used in combination with the LightCycler® 2.0 Instrument and Roche Diagnostics LightCycler® kits for in vitro diagnostic use (not available in all countries), adhere to the instructions for use in the package insert of these kits.
Note: LightCycler® Capillaries (100 μl) MGRADE are compatible with the LightCycler® 2.0 Sample Carousel (100 μl) only.
