Androgen receptor (AR) is a receptor for the androgenic hormones testosterone or dihydrotestosterone and it is a member of the steroid superfamily of ligand-dependent transcription factors. In the absence of androgen, the unligated AR mainly locates in cytoplasm, but translocates to the nucleus upon binding to androgen. Truncated AR variants with loss of C-terminus are common in prostate cancer. **Please contact us for availability**
