Cluster of Differentiation 79b (CD79b) is a B lymphocyte antigen receptor and present as a multimeric complex consisting of the antigen-specific component and surface immunoglobulin (Ig). It is overexpressed in some B cell lymphomas such as non-Hodgkin lymphoma, Burkitt’s lymphoma, and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
